As Head of Controlling at ORLEN Austria, you will lead the Controlling team and develop our Controlling department in an exciting growth phase - embedded in the international ORLEN Group. You think strategically, understand economic relationships in detail and are able to present complex content clearly and comprehensibly. In close cooperation with the specialist departments, you are not only a source of inspiration, but also a sparring partner with an eye for the essentials and a high standard of quality and informative value.
- Technical and disciplinary management of the controlling team
- Further development of our cost accounting and contribution margin structures as well as internal control systems
- Optimisation and automation of reporting processes in close coordination with management and external service providers
- Preparing and commenting on monthly, quarterly and annual reports for company management and the Group
- Deriving recommendations for action on the basis of well-founded variance analyses, forecasts and profitability calculations
- Participation in strategic and operational budget planning
- Collaboration on digitalisation and BI projects
- Translating complex financial issues into comprehensible reports for all hierarchical levels
What inspires you
- Completed business studies with a focus on controlling, finance or similar
- At least 3-5 years of professional experience in controlling, ideally in the trade, retail or energy sector
- Sound knowledge of cost accounting and the development of controlling systems
- Strong analytical thinking skills and the ability to think strategically and entrepreneurially
- Very good written and spoken German and English skills
- Strong communication skills, enjoy communicating with colleagues and managers
- Confident handling of reporting tools (e.g. Power BI, SAP, Excel)
- Ability to present complex topics in an understandable way and condense them to the essentials
